    I am a debut picture book writer. I would like to form a group of OCWW members who are writing picture books, chapter books, MG and YA. The focus of the group would be on building community, and having a place to share information, discuss industry trends, and perhaps critique each others’ work.     Chicago Women's History is offering three Writing Fellowships this spring .  All work will created be published in a Fall publication commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Womens Building Chicago 1790-1990.

    I just read the about write article on the 5am writers club.  Not interested in 5am necessarily but just regular writing time with perhaps a check in and check out depending on the needs of the group. Maybe a couple of times/week?  Open to possibilities.  Thanks! Becky

    We are putting together a feedback group for members of OCWW. I cannot promise admission, candidates have to be evaluated by all the writers in the group. We want someone with good writing chops and who doesn't know it all and is prepared to regale us with their knowledge.
