BIO: Esther Yin-ling Spodek, an MFA graduate of Indiana University, teaches creative writing at New Trier Extension. She taught the Holocaust Survivors’ Memoir Workshop at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and edited the book arising from that workshop, In Our Voices. She has also taught writing at Columbia College and has had fellowships at University of the South-Sewanee and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. We Have Everything Before Us is her first novel, and she is at work on her second. Spodek lives in Evanston.
